France's Oufei Asset Management announced that it will try out real-time blocks on SETL's IZNES fund accounting platform.

OFI Asset Management has taken a bold step by testing real-time blockchain trading on the IZNES fund accounting platform, developed by SETL, a London-based company specializing in blockchain settlement systems. This marks a significant move towards integrating innovative technology into traditional financial processes. A recent press release from OFI highlighted that the company conducted several production trials with its clients, and all transactions processed through the IZNES system were successful. The IZNES platform was co-developed by France Europe-Africa Asset Management Corporation and SETL. Notably, other key participants in the project include Groupama AM and Arkéa Investment Services, signaling strong industry support for this initiative. Peter Randall, CEO of SETL Development Ltd, emphasized that this pilot project represents a major milestone in applying blockchain technology within the asset management sector. He pointed out that blockchain offers clear benefits such as reduced costs, increased transparency, and improved operational efficiency. Randall added: “When this blockchain project is fully operational, it will become one of the most valuable private blockchain use cases in the world.” The IZNES solution enables investors to redeem their funds directly through asset management companies, eliminating the need for intermediaries like transfer agents or fund transfer accounts. By leveraging blockchain, the platform supports the entire lifecycle of fund operations—issuance, transfer, and redemption. Pierre Davoust, CEO of SETL France, highlighted the flexibility of the IZNES platform, which allows businesses to minimize disruptions during implementation. He explained: “Investors, fund distributors, and asset management companies can process orders using their own internal tools on the SETL blockchain.” SETL was founded in July 2015 with the mission of building a comprehensive blockchain-based payment and settlement infrastructure. The company aims to cover a wide range of assets and currencies, positioning itself at the forefront of the evolving financial technology landscape. With this new trial, OFI Asset Management is not only embracing innovation but also setting a precedent for others in the industry to follow.

After the digital processing, Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) transform the signals back to analog, and the output stage amplifiers power the corresponding speakers for each channel. This independent processing for every channel ensures that each audio stream maintains its integrity and clarity, even in complex multi-source setups. For example, in a 5.1 surround sound system, the multi-channel amplifier can handle the distinct audio information for the left, right, center, left surround, right surround, and subwoofer channels with precision, creating a rich and immersive soundscape.
