On the afternoon of 2010-7-28, Shenzhen Led Industry Federation held the “Secondary Council for Accelerating the Development of LED Industry and Striving for the National Low-carbon Economy and the Second LED Council of Shenzhen LED Industry Federation†in the Civic Center. The relevant leaders of the city attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the leaders of the federation pointed out that in the second half of 2010, the city will continue to strengthen the construction of eight major public service platforms for the development of the LED industry, forming a strong favorable conditions and industrial environment for promoting the rapid development of the LED industry. The eight platforms will build an important LED trading platform, design creative platform, technology research and development platform, standard testing intellectual property platform, industrial agglomeration platform, public information service platform, financial service platform and market development platform. With the completion and operation of these eight platforms, the scale of LED industry in Shenzhen will reach 13 billion in 2015. In 2020, Shenzhen LED industry will achieve the goal of occupying 40%-50% of global industry. By then, Shenzhen LED industry will be in technology, Market, design and cost take advantage.
At the meeting, the leaders of the federation also proposed the work plan for the second half of the year, and hoped to adhere to the "service, harmony, hard work, innovation" federation culture, and strengthen the Shenzhen LED Industry Federation.
