The ADV7525 is an 80 MHz, high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI® transmitter with an extended consumer electronics control (CEC) buffer. It supports high-definition TV formats up to 1080p and computer graphics resolutions up to XGA (75 Hz) .
The device has an embedded HDCP key, which can safely transmit the protected content specified by the HDCP 1.3 protocol.
ADV7525 supports two audio formats: S / PDIF and 8-channel I2S. The high-fidelity 8-channel I2S can transmit 192 kHz stereo or 7.1-channel surround sound audio. S / PDIF can transmit stereo LPCM audio or compressed audio, including DTS ?, THX? And Dolby? Digital.
ADV7526 also integrates some other features, such as: I2C host for reading EDID, and I2C and Hot Plug? (Hot plug) detection pin compatible with 5 V voltage, etc., all of which help to simplify system design and reduce costs .
