Everlight launches several new 8-Pin DIP high-efficiency Optocouplers

Billion Optoelectronics (TSE: 2393) introduced three new high-speed series products, 8-pin DIP high-speed optical coupler (phototransistoroptocoupler). These new models are equipped with high insulation voltages (5000Vrms, 1 minute), and the thin package form factor can be installed in a limited space (S1 option at 3.9mm max) and an external creepage insulation distance of 8mm width.

The 1MB high-speed optocoupler family in this series offers a wide range of current-transfer-ratio (CTR) and a wide operating temperature (-55 °C to +100 °C). The 10MBd LogicGate high-speed coupler provides stable performance from -40 °C to +85 °C and a narrow PWD (Pulse WidthDistortion) up to 35ns. The High-Gain Split Darlington series achieves a 2000% (typ.) current conversion ratio at a low input current of 1.6mA. These optocouplers with key features provide excellent performance when designing linear receivers, providing analog or digital line grounding insulation, or suppressing common noise.

The 1MBd high-speed optocoupler, including 6N135, 6N136 and EL 4502, is a collector of optoelectronic diode bias and output transistors and is equipped with a separate link. This feature greatly increases the speed of transmission compared to conventional optocouplers. The series also offers a wide range of current conversion ratio specifications (CTR) and replaces traditional pulse wave transmission with high voltage level transfer. The 6N137 is a 10MBd logic gate high speed phototransistor coupler with a high speed integrated line detector (High Speed ​​Integrated PhotoDetector). Applications in high data transmission can block general external noise frequency interference. The 6N138 and 6N139 are high-gain Darlington series that can be driven directly on CMOS circuits and provide high current-to-conversion ratios (CTRs) at low input currents. This series can be used for low power consumption. Grounded isolation and high Transient Immunity requirements.

This 8-pin DIP devices series, like the other DIP optocouplers of E-Light, are available in two SMD types (SandS1). In addition to saving space in height-constrained applications, the SMD option S1 type retains the demanding advantage of a 5,000Vrms isolation voltage for DIP packages. This range of products is compatible with (Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant lead-free processes. Another great option for those who use DIP optocouplers will be available.
