Jaguar E-PaceRS, Audi RSQ3 compact performance SUV battle is about to kick off

Graz, Austria – The global automotive market continues to see strong growth in SUVs and crossovers. In 2016, the market for these vehicles grew by nearly 29%, driving automakers to introduce new models. Jaguar Land Rover recently announced that its compact SUV, the E-PACE, will be manufactured at Magna’s facility in Graz, Austria. This marks another collaboration between Jaguar and Magna, following the I-PACE model. Production of the E-PACE is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2017. The vehicle is set to become a key player in Jaguar’s lineup, combining performance with practicality. Recent reports have also revealed details about the high-performance variant of the E-PACE, known as the RS version. It's said to feature a 3.0L V6 supercharged engine producing up to 350 horsepower. This places it among competitors like the Audi RS Q3 and the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45. In terms of design, the E-PACE RS will showcase a new carbon fiber air intake kit, a larger front grille, and a more dynamic front bumper. These changes highlight the vehicle's aggressive stance while maintaining its distinct identity. The front grille will be adorned with an "SVR" badge, emphasizing its performance credentials. The exterior also includes larger alloy wheels and red brake calipers, adding to the car’s sporty appeal. The use of carbon fiber for the side mirrors and roof helps reduce weight, improving both performance and efficiency. Under the hood, the engine has been recalibrated for better power delivery. With a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 5.9 seconds, the E-PACE RS promises thrilling performance. This model is expected to attract enthusiasts looking for a blend of luxury, style, and power.
