C disk capacity emergency? Use this method to lend some space!

C disk space rush to believe that many small partners have encountered, and do not say that the space is full of no way to store data, the most important is that usually the system is installed in the C drive, swap files, etc. must take up space on this partition . When the C drive is full, these temporary exchange files cannot be "infinitely expanded." The result is that the computer is getting too severe. It has to be said that the design of Windows is indeed awkward. In any case, we must leave a certain margin for C drive. Is there a way to solve it now? Delete files? It is impossible, then you may wish to "borrow" from the D drive!

To borrow space from the D drive, the premise is that the C drive and the D drive must be the same hard drive. Like the C drive is a solid state drive, and the D drive is a mechanical drive, there is no way to achieve this. First download Diskgenius software (partition assistant can also) to save it in the PE boot disk (part of the PE boot disk with Diskgenius), use the PE boot disk to start and run the software. After entering the DOS version of Diskgenius, right-click on the D drive (with box prompts) and select "Resize partition".

In the pop-up interface, hold down the left mouse button, drag from the leftmost disk strip to the right to the expansion capacity that you think is appropriate, or fill in the "space at the front of the partition" below. Note that the unit here is KB. After confirming that the capacity to be expanded is correct, click Start to run.

In the confirmation dialog, you need to confirm whether the operation is performed. Then check whether it is correct and click "Yes".

Right-click on the C drive after you finish and select "Resize partition".

When the key comes, it is still left-clicked on the mouse, but from the far right side of the C drive, continue to the right, and the capacity just split from the D drive is full.

Before clicking Start, check "After completion" and select "Restart". After that, it is still prompted to confirm and check it is correct.

In this way, the space originally split from the D disk is transferred to the C drive, and the data of both disks will not be lost. Of course, in addition to Diskgenius, the partition helper can also achieve this approach, even with the disk management capabilities of Windows can also achieve C disk expansion by compressing the volume.
