Seoul Semiconductor successfully mass-produced 5 times brightness LED new product "nPola"

On July 3, Seoul Semiconductor's new LED product “nPola” debuted, which uses the core technology that will lead the next-generation lighting market.

The new product "nPola" is a product developed by Seoul Semiconductor for more than 10 years with patented technology. It is characterized by the use of non-polar technology, which greatly improves the luminous efficiency. Compared with the current LED, the brightness on the same area is 5 times higher. At present, the LED luminous efficiency of mass production is about 100 lumens per watt, and the "nPola" product disclosed by Seoul Semiconductor has reached 500 lumens. To put it simply, 10 to 20 LEDs are generally used to make LED bulbs that replace 60W household bulbs, but with "nPola", only 1 or 2 LEDs can achieve the same brightness.

Through this successful mass production of "nPola" products, Seoul Semiconductor is able to promote the replacement of traditional lighting with LED lighting. Seoul Semiconductor said it will enter production immediately, and plans to start selling based on overseas strategic points.
