The importance of valves

The valve is one of the important basic tackling parts of the machinery industry and a key part of the engine valve mechanism (see Figure 2). Status of valve inspection

The quality inspection of the valve includes a number of indicators, mainly the inspection of the size and appearance. At present, most of the size inspections of domestic valve production processes use contact detection methods such as dial gauges and chucks. In addition to the diameter of the rod, other parameters are mostly sampled. Sampling inspection can not guarantee the timeliness and comprehensiveness. Once there are scraps, it may cause the scrapping of batches of products and cause huge losses to the enterprise. Regarding the appearance inspection of valves, most domestic enterprises currently use manual inspection, that is, visually inspecting the appearance, which not only has a high labor cost but also cannot guarantee the inspection quality.

At the same time, manual testing needs to be configured with multiple people to meet the demand, resulting in low efficiency and great uncertainty, which affects the delivery quality of the enterprise. It is understood that a valve manufacturer with an annual output of 10 million valves needs at least 15 inspection personnel.

In order to get rid of the above situation, some enterprises began to try to use automatic detection equipment. This type of equipment has two types of non-contact and contact. The non-contact testing equipment has good applicability, but it can only detect the size and is expensive; while the contact testing equipment is low in price, it has poor adaptability to multi-variety production and has losses during use. At present, these two types of equipment are unable to achieve appearance inspection. For the above reasons, the application of these two types of devices is not widespread at present.
