On February 2, Maoshuo Power announced that both the company and its subsidiaries, Maoshuo Electronics and Maoshuo Electric, have met the requirements for the second batch of corporate funding under the 2017 Enterprise Research and Development Funding Scheme. The total subsidy amount allocated for the project is RMB 2.935 million.

According to the announcement, the government subsidy has already been received by Maoshuo Power, totaling RMB 1.902 million. However, Maoshuo Electronics has not yet received its share of RMB 10.33 million. The company has stated that it will continue to update stakeholders on the progress of the funding distribution.
The grant was awarded for the “2017 Enterprise Research and Development Funding Scheme,†highlighting Maoshuo Power’s role as a global leader in power supply solutions and a key player in the domestic industry. The company has consistently invested heavily in research and development. In the first half of 2017 alone, Maoshuo Power spent RMB 29.54 million on R&D, marking a 33.14% increase compared to the previous year.
In 2018, Maoshuo Electronics launched its own Internet of Things (IoT) initiative. Following formal confirmation, the company focused on smart interconnection and IoT technologies. Alongside introducing innovative smart power solutions, Maoshuo Electronics has partnered with leading communication companies like ZTE and Huawei to provide customized control systems and comprehensive solutions, aiming to build an integrated ecosystem.
Maoshuo Power has long been at the forefront of intelligent power solutions. Recently, the company applied for a government subsidy for the “High-efficiency Constant Current Intelligent LED Driver Power Supply Industrialization†project with the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission. The project has now received approval (Document No. Deep Development [2018] No. 73), with a subsidy of RMB 2.03 million allocated.
As traditional drive power technology approaches its limits, companies must seek new growth opportunities. Maoshuo has already begun exploring intelligent lighting solutions, such as DALI power supplies for rail transit systems.
With the rise of the Internet of Things, Maoshuo has identified emerging market needs and is focusing on system control and hardware innovation. Through continuous R&D and technological advancement, the company is making significant contributions to China’s industrial development and positioning itself strongly on the global stage.
