A number of Japanese companies are involved in the OLED panel industry Mitsubishi Chemical and Pioneer are about to mass production

According to the Japanese media "Daily Industry News" reported on the 7th, Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corp. and Pioneer Corp. plan to work together to begin testing OLED panels for mass production lighting this week. Mitsubishi Chemical and Pioneer have successfully solved the problems of high manufacturing cost and poor durability of OLED panels in the trial stage. Therefore, it is expected to establish a mass production system through test mass production, and then plan to introduce mass production in 2013.

According to the report, Mitsubishi Chemical and Pioneer plan to establish a technology that can produce OLED panels at a lower cost in 2015, in order to increase the revenue of OLED lighting business (the total value of the two companies) to 30 billion yen in 2015. Moreover, Mitsubishi Chemical and Pioneer have successfully produced OLED panels by "coating" technology in June this year. Compared with the current "vacuum evaporation" technology, the production cost can be reduced by up to 90%.

Japanese media reported earlier that Sumitomo Chemical Co. plans to grab the OLED lighting market and will begin mass production of OLED panels in 2012. In addition to Sumitomo Chemical, the Japanese company Kaneka plans to invest 10 billion yen to build a mass production system for OLED panels for lighting before the end of 2015, and Panasonic has started to supply lighting to the market in September 2011 in cooperation with Idemitsu. Use OLED panels.

The operation of Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs) requires high utilization of these vehicles in order to achieve an optimum of profitability. Often, recharge of the batteries which are required for the drive of the AGVs, presents a problem.

The development of powerful batteries, which allow for quick recharge within seconds, enables the integration of charging contacts into the production cycle without removing the AGVs from the production process.

Battery charging stations may be installed anywhere within the system where the production process allows the AGV to stop (staging areas, turn arounds, loading stops etc.).
