India's IT workers are facing the risk of unemployment are seeking online counseling

According to a report by Quartz on August 3, IT professionals in India are currently going through a tough time, grappling with the fear of losing their jobs and seeking solace and advice online. The Indian IT sector, worth $150 billion, directly or indirectly employs around 10 million workers and is currently in a difficult situation. Once considered one of the most desirable fields of employment, it now faces numerous challenges: shrinking global demand, shifting job requirements, and aggressive cost-cutting measures. These factors have led to expectations of widespread layoffs. This has had a significant emotional impact on employees. To make matters worse, many of these technical workers are increasingly turning to online counseling services due to the lack of adequate support systems and the stigma surrounding mental health issues. A psychological counseling platform named "YourDost" has noted that severe financial stress, heightened anxiety, worsening depression, and a lack of self-confidence and motivation have been persistent problems for these workers. In recent days, YourDost launched a helpline for individuals who have recently lost their jobs or are concerned about potential layoffs. Between June 29 and July 1, the platform received over 260 calls and approximately 800 chat requests. Of these users, 43% came from the IT industry, making up the largest demographic group. According to the startup's records, 57% of users had not sought help from friends, family, or professionals prior to reaching out to the hotline. Puneet Manuja, co-founder of YourDost, told Quartz, "They don't want to be labeled 'crazy.' In our culture, we're not inclined to share our vulnerabilities with others." However, on the internet, people can hide behind pseudonyms and speak freely with professional counselors, which makes them feel at ease. Sixty-seven percent of users contacting YourDost are men. Anonymous settings are particularly beneficial to them. Manuja explained, "In India, masculinity often means that men are expected not to show weakness, which stops us from expressing ourselves or seeking support. Online, we can seek help without damaging our reputation." More than 42% of callers originate from smaller cities like Alwar in Rajasthan and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, indicating that the issue extends beyond the IT sector and major urban areas. Despite being the world's fastest-growing major economy, India continues to face significant unemployment challenges. Given the severity of the situation, Indians need all the assistance they can get. However, India has only 3,800 psychiatrists, 898 clinical psychologists, and 1,500 psychiatric nurses to cater to a population of 1.3 billion people. YourDost, along with other psychological counseling platforms such as ePsyclinic in Gurgaon, InnerHouse in Mumbai, and Seraniti in Bangalore, are stepping in to fill this vast gap. This is proving to be crucial for struggling Indian employees. (Compiled by Intern Li Wei, reviewed by Tan Liya)

RF Coaxial Cables

The physical structure of L. SYV is 100% polyethylene insulation; Sywv# for physical foam polyethylene insulated cable, foaming rate of 70-80%; L. Due to the dielectric loss, the attenuation of SYV solid cable is significantly greater than that of SYWV physical foam cable; Among the commonly used engineering cables, the physical foam cable is still the best transmission performance, the lowest price of the cable, in video, radio frequency, microwave and other bands are so. The test data given by the manufacturer also shows this; L) Library coaxial cable can be used for DC, RF and microwave frequency bands. Differentiating cables by "RF"/" video "is not only insufficient, but also misleading: it seems that solid cables must or can only be selected for video transmission. ; From an engineering perspective, it is more practical to distinguish between "solid" and "foam" cable types; L The characteristic difference between high braided (128) and low braided (64) cables: Yi Aiyi laboratory experimental research shows that in the following frequency band of 200 KHZ, the "low resistance" of high braided cables plays an important role in the shielding layer, so the low frequency transmission attenuation is less than that of low braided cables. However, in the video, RF and microwave frequencies above 200-300 KHZ, the high braided cable has lost the advantage of "low resistance" due to the "high frequency skin effect", so the two high frequency attenuation cables are basically the same.
