Linear Technology Corporation has launched the LTM4613, a high-performance 8A step-down micromodule (μModule) regulator that has been officially certified by TUV Rheinland to meet EN55022 Class B EMI radiation limits at up to 96W output power. This device is ideal for applications where electromagnetic compatibility is critical, offering reliable performance across a wide range of input and output conditions.

The LTM4613 operates with an input voltage range from 5V to 36V, delivering a stable output between 3.3V and 15V. It ensures a maximum DC error of just 2.0% across varying voltage, load, and temperature conditions, making it highly suitable for precision power management systems. In applications such as 24V to 12V conversion, the LTM4613 achieves peak efficiency exceeding 95%, significantly reducing power loss and improving system performance.

This μModule regulator stands out in its class for delivering the highest output power while maintaining strict compliance with EN55022 Class B standards. Its design incorporates an integrated π-type filter, optimized layout, shielded inductors, and carefully controlled power transistor drivers, all contributing to minimal EMI emissions.
