Focus: Research on key application standards for digital workshops in the field of sensor manufacturing

On November 29, 2015, the Liaoning Industry and Information Technology Commission, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, organized an expert panel to evaluate the first batch of smart manufacturing special projects titled "Research on Key Application Standards for Digital Workshops in the Field of Sensor Manufacturing." This project was led by the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After a thorough review and discussion, the expert group unanimously approved the project's completion. The expert team included members from the National Intelligent Manufacturing Standardization Expert Consultation Group, as well as technical and financial experts from universities and industry enterprises. Representatives from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shenyang Institute of Automation also attended the meeting. The project leader, Shi Haibo, presented a detailed report on the project’s achievements. Li Yu and Fang Bingjun, associate research fellows, delivered technical presentations on two draft standards: “General Technical Requirements” and “Safety Requirements and Assessment Methods.” The expert group carefully reviewed the project data, checked the completeness and rationality of the documentation, tested the standard test platform, conducted on-site inspections, and reviewed sample provisions of the standards. They also watched a video showcasing the field verification at Chongqing Shengsheng Photoelectric Co., Ltd. Following extensive discussions and questioning, the expert group concluded that the project had successfully completed its objectives. The acceptance data was comprehensive, the standard research report was completed, and the draft standards were developed. An experimental verification platform was established, and all standard content was validated through proofs, platforms, and on-site checks. The project adhered to budget management guidelines, ensuring proper use of funds. The standards have already been applied in digital workshops of sensor manufacturing companies in Chongqing, offering valuable guidance for industrial enterprises building their own digital workshops. The two draft standards developed during the project are expected to regulate and guide the planning, construction, transformation, and operation of digital workshops in the sensor industry and other IT product manufacturers. The experimental platform built can serve as an open resource for enterprises, providing a public platform for research, testing, and evaluation of digital workshop technologies. These achievements will not only support the broader application of the standards but also enhance the capabilities of the Shenyang Institute of Automation as a national leader in intelligent manufacturing solutions. Ultimately, this project contributes significantly to the intelligent transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries across Liaoning and beyond.
