On July 18th, Dongyang Debang Lighting Co., Ltd., jointly invested by Hengdian Group Debang Electronics Co., Ltd. and Philips Lighting Group, officially opened. Debon Electronics holds 75% of the joint venture company, and Philips Lighting Group holds 25% of the shares. All of them are invested in funds, mainly producing energy-saving lamps.
According to Liao Jianbo, general manager of Debon Electronics, Debon has cooperated with Philips for about 10 years. Although it uses its own R&D technology, due to its advantages in terms of brand and market channels, Debon products are especially in the international market. In the US market, the Philips brand is available, and the profits won are relatively limited. Today, through a joint venture with the Philips Lighting Group and a 75% stake, although the same Philips brand, but the state of the international market share of profits has greatly increased.
