Recently, Ji Zhengkun, member of the Party Committee of the AQSIQ and director of the National Standards Committee, went to the National Lighting Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Zhongshan) for investigation. The reporter learned that the center has become the first energy efficiency testing laboratory for self-rectifying fluorescent lamps for general lighting approved by the China National Institute of Standardization. In the future, Zhongshan's lighting companies will be able to perform fluorescent energy efficiency testing locally.
According to reports, the National Lighting Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Zhongshan) was built on the basis of the former Guangdong Provincial Technical Supervision and Lighting Provincial Station. At present, the testing center's testing capabilities have basically covered the entire project in the field of lighting, with 116 testing capabilities of 94 important products.
